Anni-ceptions – The rise of the second wedding.

Lockdown was quite like nothing we have ever experienced. It put many social occasions on hold, weddings took the biggest hit with many being canceled and rearranged for the first, second, or even third time. It left many couples feeling frustrated and most opted for a smaller more intimate ceremony with the intention of doing a bigger celebration on the 1st year anniversary. And with that idea in the mind the Anni-ception was born. 

A Suit Change? 

Perhaps looking back you weren’t ecstatic about the suit that you wore, shops might have been closed and you got what you could for your big day. You may have worn a morning suit and want something a little less formal and modern for your anniversary reception.

Bestman. 

Due to number restrictions you may not have been able to have a best-man, or certainly groomsmen. This could be the chance for you to be able to include everyone who is important to you, giving you the big day you really deserved. 

Are you going to include groomsmen again? If so what are they going to wear? We offer a range of option for wedding party’s depending on your budget.  You can either all have matching Made To Measure or Bespoke suits, a more budget friendly alternative is to have your groomsmen’s suit made ready to wear. Our ready to wear suits and semi bespoke, you can choose the fabric and design but we make then to a standard size. If you are having a 3pc suit made it can always be a nice touch to have matching waistcoats made for your groomsmen. If it is simply a token gesture you are looking for you can have a bespoke shirt made, a nice reminder of your special day. 

A small change? 

You may have had your wedding suit made and you love it, you probably cant wait to wear it again! But perhaps you don’t want to wear exactly the same outfit again? You can change your look by adding a waistcoat or if you already went for a 3 piece, changing the waistcoat. This can elevate and change your look while allowing you to wear the same suit over and over again. 

By adding a contrasting waistcoat you are making your 3 piece more of a statement piece.
