Wedding Suits Made for You

In short

Roomten makes wedding suits to measure for the groom, the wedding party and family, planned around the venue, the season and the time of day. Allow several months: the make itself takes approximately 6–8 weeks.

What we make

For the whole party.

  • Groom suits

The suit built first, with everything else planned around it.

  • Three-piece suits

A waistcoat gives you a second look once the jacket comes off.

  • Dinner suits and black tie

For evening ceremonies and black tie receptions.

  • Summer weddings

Lighter-weight wools, wool-linens and open weaves.

  • Winter weddings

Flannels, tweeds and heavier worsteds with more structure.

  • Country weddings

Tweed and texture, cut for standing about outdoors.

  • Wedding party tailoring

Groomsmen and family measured within one window.

  • Fathers of the bride and groom

Answers

Wedding tailoring questions

How do I choose my cloth?

You choose from more than 6,000 cloths, predominantly from British and Italian mills. We narrow the choice down with you based on how and when the garment will be worn.

How far in advance should I order my wedding suit?

Allow more time than the standard 6–8 week make. Ordering several months ahead leaves room for fittings, changes and the rest of the wedding party.

Can Roomten tailor the whole wedding party?

Yes. Groom, groomsmen and family can be measured and made in matching or complementary cloths, coordinated to one delivery date.

What is the best fabric for a summer wedding suit?

Lighter-weight wools, wool-linen and open-weave cloths wear cooler and crease more softly than heavy worsteds, which matters over a long day outdoors.
