Overcoats
In short
A Roomten made-to-measure overcoat is cut to your own measurements in your chosen coating cloth, with the length, closure and shoulder set to how you wear it — over a suit, a jacket or knitwear.
An overcoat is the first thing anyone sees and the garment you wear most often in winter. It has to clear the jacket underneath without looking oversized, which is exactly what an off-the-peg coat rarely manages.

Winters
A well-made coat in a good coating cloth is a decade-long garment, not a season's purchase.

Lead time — Approximately 6–8 weeks
Cut over a jacket
The coat is measured over the clothing you will actually wear beneath it, so the chest and shoulder allow for a jacket or knitwear without adding bulk elsewhere.
Cloth and weight
Coating cloths run from light topcoat weights to heavy melton. The weight sets how warm the coat is, how it hangs and how well it holds its shape over years of wear.
