Waistcoats
In short
A Roomten made-to-measure waistcoat is cut to your own measurements as part of a three-piece suit or as an odd garment, and is priced from £379.
A waistcoat changes the proportions of a suit. It closes the line between jacket and trouser, keeps the shirt in place, and lets the jacket come off without the outfit falling apart — which is why it remains a wedding favourite.

Lead time — Approximately 6–8 weeks
Length and coverage
The waistcoat must cover the trouser waistband when you stand and when you sit. Length and front shape are set to your torso rather than a standard block.
Cut
Single breasted with no lapel is the quietest option; a lapelled or double-breasted waistcoat is more of a statement and reads well at weddings and formal events.
Cloth
Matching suiting for a three-piece, or a contrasting tweed, check or linen for odd wear. Backs can be made in cloth or lining.
