Bespoke Suits

In short

Roomten bespoke suits are individually constructed with a handmade floating canvas and additional fitting stages, and start from £2,999 for a two-piece.

Bespoke is our most individual service. The garment is built around you with a handmade floating canvas, hand finishing and extra fitting stages, so the shape of the jacket is developed over the course of the commission rather than set at the outset.

Construction

What bespoke involves.

Individual construction

The garment is made for you rather than adapted from a standard pattern, so proportions can be set to your figure from the start.

Handmade floating canvas

The canvas is held to the cloth with stitching rather than glue, so the chest keeps its shape and moulds to the wearer over time.

Baste fitting

The jacket is fitted in a basted state, before it is finished, so the balance and shape can be corrected while the work is still open.

Hand finishing

Hand work at the points where it changes how the garment sits and how long it lasts.

Cloth and styling

Complete freedom of cloth from 6,000+ options, predominantly British and Italian mills, and of styling detail throughout.

Price

Two-piece bespoke suits start from £2,999. The final price depends on cloth and specification.

What is a floating canvas suit?

A floating canvas jacket has a canvas interlining held to the cloth with stitching rather than glue, so the chest moulds to the wearer over time. Roomten bespoke jackets use a handmade floating canvas.
