When should you order your wedding suit?

In short
Order several months before the wedding. A made-to-measure suit takes approximately 6–8 weeks to make, and the extra time covers cloth selection, fittings, adjustments and coordinating the rest of the wedding party. Our recommendation is to order your suit 3 - 6 months before the wedding.
The make is only part of it
Making the suit takes about 6–8 weeks under normal circumstances. Deciding what you want, seeing cloth, being measured, fitting the finished garment and making adjustments all sit either side of that.
A workable order of events
- First appointment: cloth, style and colour discussed against the venue, season and time of day.
- Measuring: full measurements, posture and fit assessed.
- Making: approximately 6–8 weeks.
- Fitting: finished garment fitted and adjusted where necessary, comfortably before the day.
If the whole party is being tailored
Groomsmen and family are best measured within a short window so everything is made and delivered together. Where people are spread around the country, allow extra time for travel to appointments.
