Tweed Three Piece Suit

King of the castle or fit for a wedding? The roomten three piece suit featured in this article was actually made for Simon’s wedding! He is looking stylishly regal so you could think he owned the castle too but we have it on good authority it is a wedding venue! Simon chose this Grouse Moor green tweed from Holland & Sherry with orange over check for his suit and of course roomten made the shirt and tie to complement the outfit! We also made two piece suits using the same fabric for Simon’s best man and father of the bride.

Other options – Mix & Match

During 2017/18 we made lots of three piece tweed wedding suits, often featuring a different waistcoat or all three garments in a different fabric or colour. We see this trend continuing in to 2019 largely due to couples now having many different types of venues and can also choose different themes for there big day.  With tweed proving to be such a popular choice we have increased our range of tweeds available and have even designed and had our own exclusive tweeds made.

Dany Mac and Carley Stenson’s chose a magical woodland wedding theme set in the New Forest. We worked closely with Danny, you may recognise Danny from his role as Mark “Dodger” Savage in Hollyoaks or more recently his success on Strictly Come Dancing last year and his tireless work on stage starring in Off The Boat and Sunset Boulevard.

Danny came to us here at Roomten to discuss his wedding. Using both Danny’s own unique style and our experience in design and tailoring, we were able to create him something one of a kind for his special day.

Selected were fabrics from one of the finest British Tweed Mills, Abraham Moon & Sons and a Scottish Mill, Porter & Harding Of Scotland. The look intended for Danny and his Groomsmen suits was a traditional tweed suit with a modern twist to compliment the forest surroundings of the wedding venue.
